Hugh "Wee Hughie" Campbell is a plucky little Scotsman whose whole life was changed the day his girlfriend was accidentally killed by a superhero. He's approached by Billy Butcher, the leader of The Boys, a small, secret, specialized, and superpowered team backed by the CIA. It's their job to keep the superheroes in check, because in this world, the superheroes -- the ones that the public adores, the ones wearing colorful spandex and bright shiny smiles for the camera -- are actually arrogant, reckless perverts who care only about their image and nothing for human life. Billy takes Hughie under his wing as The Boys' fifth member, and injects him with a DNA-altering chemical called Compound V without his permission. It gives Hughie super-strength -- and he discovers quite gruesomely just how super it is when he accidentally kills a superhero with his bare hands in a fight.

Shortly after this is when Wee Hughie starts to arrive at Milliways, as he adjusts to being one of The Boys.

Characteristics: closely-cropped hair; goatee; not very physically impressive at 5'5" tall; looks suspiciously a lot like actor Simon Pegg. 25 years old, good-natured, sensitive, sharp as a tack. Speaks with a strong Glaswegian accent. Has a pet hamster named Jamie.
